The most common fireplace project we do is transforming a dated brick or drywall fireplace into a stone focal point. We install ledgestone, stacked stone, limestone, fieldstone and thin-brick veneer over the existing structure — from a surround-only reface to a full floor-to-ceiling stone wall — and finish it with a matching hearth and a timber, stone or cast mantel.

How much does an interior stone fireplace cost in St. Louis?
Refacing an existing fireplace in stone veneer with a new hearth and mantel typically runs $4,000–$12,000 depending on the stone and how far up the wall it goes. A new masonry fireplace and chimney built from the footing up is a larger project and is quoted after a site visit.
Can you put stone over my existing brick fireplace?
Yes. In most homes we can install natural or manufactured stone veneer directly over sound brick after prep, or build out a new surround and hearth. If the brick or firebox is damaged we repair it first.
Do you build outdoor fireplaces too?

Do you repair fireplaces and chimneys?
We repair fireboxes, repoint brick and stone joints, replace cracked or dated veneer and rebuild chimney crowns, caps and flashing. Chimney tuckpointing is handled under our tuckpointing service.
How long does a fireplace reface take?
Most interior stone refaces are done in 3–5 working days. A full masonry fireplace build with a new chimney takes several weeks including curing and inspections.
